Smaller than its cousin, the Large White, this butterfly is easily
recognised by its size and plain yellow underside. Between April and
October it is probably the most common UK garden visitor, enjoying
nectar from a wide variety of flowers. The blue green velvet
caterpillars can often be found feeding on cabbages or nasturtiums.
